Oh - and other stuff!

Lisa designed and built cool plant cages - made out of 1x2, and a foot cubed, covered with chicken wire on 5 sides. She slapped them together with the B+D nail gun we've got. Man, that things's a treat!

But the idea behind these things is to protect the plants from diggin' squirrels now, and chompin' bunnies in the spring: this way the plants can get a bit of growth on them before the cages need to be removed.

Also, she reconfigured the minivan, took out a middle row seat, put up the rear bench seat, so that I can sit there with my foot up and iced when we go up to Midland on Monday to see Dr Edwards the miracle worker. I'm hoping he can give me some insight into my ankle.

Also, I've done a couple little cleanup projects the past couple of days: I cleaned out my wallet (it's so skinny now!), and my pocket contents (my key ring now has exactly two keys on it: house and van, and nothing else).
