Hallowe'en 2006

So another Hallowe'en has come and gone.  It was the best one ever.

Our display's been growing year by year: this year we added lots of torn cheesecloth, a scary black tattered curtain at the door, many skeletons and rats and bones, and a whole whack of plastic weapons.

We also moved our display back into the garage a bit, and lit the whole thing with two table lamps.  It made quite a nice "feel" -- like a cozy little creepy room that people would enter to get their candy.

Lisa did most everything this year (I'm still laid up from the damn fall), and she did a wonderful job of it.  Nicer than anything I do, frankly.  :-)

We had over 200 kids this year, making it the most candy we've ever given out.

And the dogs didn't vomit this year!  Horray!

Really really fun.  Pictures of our decorations and costumes and stuff are forthcoming -- they're just on the camera.  I'll post a link here once they're online.
