The butterfly room stripped down!
In our house, there is a fair bit of wallpaper, which is ... how should I say... not to our taste. We hate wallpaper. It's especially bad in this house, because the original builder paint job wasn't done properly, and so the wallpaper rips the paint off of the virgin drywall when you pull it down. <sigh>....
So, gradually, we're redoing rooms. Today we emptied out, and stripped the wallpaper in the 'Butterfly Room' (so called because of the butterfly-patterned wallpaper).
We're going to turn it into a storage room -- mod a few of our pine shelves, repack a bunch of boxes. It's a tiny room, but measuring it out, we can get a shocking amount of storage out of it with some careful shelf dimensions.
Once it's painted and set up, we'll make the gaming room go. Big plans there: I've got a sword rack to mount on the wall, and my grandfather's cowhide to mount. But, one step at a time. :-)
Good day, though. We also dragged the monster-heavy oscilloscope and bench power supply (neither of which work) downstairs. One step closer to the dump, and being rid of those white elephants.
Check out my Zetacron website, too -- I've uploaded the latest version of my Fudge rules. I'm pleased with how clean and simple they are.
