Herein you will find many pictures of me, my life, and things I like. Many of them come from my digital camera, which I take on adventures with me.
I've collected a few images from various places to put online. Some of them appear in other parts of the site, but they're all collected here for your convenience (if, of course, you care).
These days, I'm using Picasaweb to shove my pictures online. It works nicely from iPhoto on my MacBook, and does all the thumbnailing and everything. Me likes it.
This is an archive of early photography with my Canon Digital Elph. Nice little camera. These days I mostly take photos with my Sony Ericsson w810i, which is not nearly as nice a camera, but is much more convenient
I was home visiting my parents a while back and they had a Caterpillar earth mover on their property. It was a fun toy. This is a picture of me playing with it.
I thought this picture turned out exceptionally well: my parents have a copy of the picture framed at home, and scanned a copy for me.
A nice picture of myself, I believe. Taken in April of 2000.
Another nice picture of myself, after Adrienne shaved my head. Taken, also, in April of 2000.
This is the first picture of myself I ever had in digital format. I worked at Comdisco at the time, and my friend Gary Pollreis took my picture, as well as the pictures of most of the team, with a digital camera (an expensive toy, at the time!), to put into our framework demo. I kept my picture, and put it on my first web page. It's been around a long time, and it's a fun picture of me when I was a lot younger than I am now.
It was taken in my cube, and my 21" monitor with a Smalltalk development environment running on it is just barely visible.
It's true! I found it in the newspaper! I think he stole it!
I got my Australian Outback coat (pictured on me, rather than Pat, in this picture) about a week before I saw this picture in the newspaper.
I was living in Chicago at the time, and scanned the image on the Smith's scanner (the family I was living with then).
I've been drawing pictures of Alfred the Janitor since I was in high school. He's appeared in restaraunts, on people's walls, in books... Alfred's a pretty widely travelled fellow.
He used to live on the main page, but he kindof cluttered it up, so he's been relegated back here. He prefers it here anyway, he likes the dark and quiet.
This picture was drawn and scanned while I was living in Chicago, and dates from the same era as the picture of Pat Buchanan.
This is a more recent picture of Alfred, of an earlier time in his life when he was playing around with facial hair...
As sent to me by email. Pretty cool, eh?
My dad drew this picture, and sent it to me. I think he didn't expect me to put it online.
