Be it known by all that the Slaughtered Ram, ancient mainstay of weary travellers to our lands, is in great need of a new cook. Because uncompromising quality is at the core of our humble establishment, we want the best. And we want you to know that we have the best!
Accordingly, the Canton of Bryniau Tywynnog, at its annual Wassail, will feature no fewer than five cooks, each attempting to outdo each other for the favour of the populace of Ealdormere. We invite you to come and sample what each has to offer, and help us decide to whom we should offer this fine opportunity.
Each cook will have food of a different culture available from lunch time until after dinner. Our list of foods will include
Mistress Aibhilin with Indian dishes
Mistress Mortraeth serving Norse dishes
Baroness Utsi serving Middle Eastern dainties
Lord Aeneas and Lady Eleanor offering a taste of the Mediterranean
For the less adventurous Lady TerraJade will offer hearty hunter's fare.
We will have tokens available at the troll that the cooks have agreed to take as payment. In this way, you may eat as much or as little as you would, and pay as much (or as little) as you would.
Please note that there will be no formal feast at Wassail this year. Eat when and what you please.
In order to tempt these fine cooks to the Slaughtered Ram, we have had to cut back in other areas. Regretably, we cannot offer you any serving staff. You are, however, more than welcome to bring your own, or to attempt to entice others to fetch food for you.

The "gaming" will include "gambling" with once again a prize for the person turning in the most gambling tokens to Ragnar by 11pm. Profits for the gambling will once again be donated to kingdom funds.
