Villa Villatrolla is located on the southeast edge of Cambridge (in the part of Cambridge that used to be known as Galt. It's just up the street from Galt Collegiate Institute, a local high school that's nearly as old as the house. Our daughter Jessica goes there.
The house is located at 360 Clyde Road. The road is named after the village of Clyde, which is a tiny little town east of us.
The property backs onto a GRCA conservation area: Shades Mills. The neighbors are mostly beyond trees or the large yard. Clyde Road has relatively little traffic, especially at night.
Despite the out-of-the-city feel, it's close enough to the city to be on city water, sewage, high-speed internet, natural gas, cable television, grocerygateway.com, and nearby food vendors for late-night snack runs.
