The History of Villa Villatrolla

This house was built in 1840 in Galt. The same year, Upper and Lower Canada were united in a self-governing Union. The first world war had yet to happen. Postage stamps were being invented in England.

...more details here to come...

The GRCA annexed a bunch of land around the Grand River in the 1970's. This house was one of those annexed. The Gyurits moved away to the nearby town of St George, where they still live.

A bunch of time passed, many tenants came and went. The previous tenants were here for 8 years.

I'd like to find out more about the history of this place.
