Welcome to Villa Villatrolla, our home. It's an old stone Georgian farmhouse. Our current research indicates that the house was built in 1840, making the house 163 years old (as of this writing). A beautiful building, and a lot of work to fix up.
We're renting this place from the Grand River Conservation Authority, an organization that manages water levels and quality. They're pretty good landlords.
It's big, the yard is beautiful with huge mature trees, no neighbors really close, on a funny road that has no traffic at night, yet close enough to the city to be on city water, sewage, high-speed internet, natural gas, cable television, grocerygateway.com, and nearby food vendors for late-night snack runs.
