I added a bunch of content to Tropical Rainforest (Jungle). I've discovered the joys of public domain US Military survival handbooks. Expect more soon.
More stuff being added from my roleplaying computer directory. Gloin Axebreaker is my current PC I'm running, Jare Overhill is an another older character, and I added a list of archetypes I had kicking around to Miscellaneous. Anaams is an alternative magic system I once created. Maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting. Wander through the site. It's expanded quite a bit these days...
I've added the character sheet of Donald McFloren, one of my favorite PCs. This is the first of putting online all the electronic roleplaying stuff I've got on my computer but not published. Watch this space.
I'm cleaning stuff up, fixing up some markup
Also, I've added a few new sections of website. In particular, Miscellaneous has been ported over from Magic Jar, and About, Motivation, and Future Plans are also new.
Soon all the Magic Jar stuff will be here. One of my next big projects (don't hold your breath) is to enter in d20-statted versions of my Big Stack of roleplaying notes that I've been keeping around for years. It'd be fun, but also a huge amount of work. While we're still working on our new house, I can't even consider that.
A bunch of content from Magic Jar has been ported over. In particular, the Countries, Worlds and Planets page is new, as is the Magic page.
Horse Stats is a new section on game mechanics stuff related to horses. A "Standard" currency system has been updated, mostly just touched up a bit.
Horses in History: Europe has been fleshed out, finally, and is no longer in point form. Makes me happy -- I've been working on that (inactively) for some time. My next web project is to complete Horse Breeds.
Biomes has had a few flavor images added, thanks to the GIMP community-indexed photo archive, a suite of public-domain images, indexed by the Internet community. A cool thing, truthfully. In addition, I've added the Image Catalog to the site, to manage and keep track of the images on the site. Not done yet, but getting there.
Horses in History: Europe has been fleshed out further with data from another source. A couple more sources, a slight reorganization and refactoring, and we'll be ready to prose-ize it. Tally ho!
Added a sketchy outline of a European Horse History section at Horses in History: Europe. The outline will be expanded substantially before being fleshed out.
I added a bunch of new magic items and effects to the Horses and Magic. Also wrote some intro text.
Don't Eat Them has the beginnings of a new chapter: Horses and Magic
I added a links page to the site, and collected together the links from various websites I have onto it.
I imported a bunch of content from Magic Jar: the economics section is entirely new.
Also, I wrote some introductory material for Don't Eat Them. Some basic structure is sketched out.
I updated the technology the page is using slightly. Building the site is faster, and a few tweaks to styles have been put in.
Work is progressing on Don't Eat Them. No published changes, however.
I added a new page about d20ML, a proposed new markup language for the site. Comments are solicited.
Finally, I tweaked the styles. If you're running the latest IE, the CSS specification of font-family: fantasy will display for you!
The stylesheets are in place, the content is starting to come together, and I'm doing an initial publish onto the web. Let's see it go!
Crystal Obelisk is up and running. I'm copying content over from the older Magic Jar site, built a logo, and am getting things up and running just as quick as I can.
My first original content for Crystal Obelisk will be Don't Eat Them: A guidebook to work and companion animals. Hopefully it won't take too long to create an initial version of this work. Keep an eye on this News for more information.
